Welcome to Maries Lucky Paws! These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of our pet sitting and dog walking services. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.
1. About Us
Maries Lucky Paws (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-based business offering pet services including dog walking, pet sitting (day and overnight), and pet check-ins.

2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to book any of our services. By making a booking, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Bookings & Initial Meeting
• We offer a free initial meeting to meet you and your pet(s).
• If the meeting is missed without 12 hours notice, a £8 rebooking fee applies.
• During this meeting, you will complete and sign an information form with details about your pet(s) and property.
• You must provide accurate and complete information. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of services.

4. Services & Payments
Dog Walking & One-Off Check-Ins:
• Payment is due on the day of service.
Pet Sitting (Day or Overnight) & Multi-Day Check-Ins:
• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This must be paid on the same day the booking is made, unless otherwise agreed.
• Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. If not paid within 24 hours, the dates will remain open to other clients.
• If you need to change your booking dates, and alternative dates are available, your deposit can be transferred to the new booking. Date changes must be requested at least 7 days before the original start date and are subject to availability.
Payment Schedule for Multi-Day Bookings (e.g. Dog Sitting or Multiple Check-Ins):
• 50% of the remaining balance is due on the first day of service.
• The final 50% is due within 12 hours of the last day of the booking.
• You are also welcome to pay the full remaining balance upfront if preferred.
Base Pricing:
• All prices listed or quoted are base rates. Final charges may vary depending on the specific needs, number of pets, travel distance, or additional requirements discussed and agreed upon.
Verbal Agreements:
• Any service arrangements confirmed through messages, emails, or calls will be treated as verbal contracts, and are binding unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellations & Refunds
• You must give at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.
• The 30% deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
• However, if you need to reschedule and suitable alternative dates are available, your deposit can be transferred to the new dates (see Section 4 for full details).

6. Failure to Pay
• Failure to pay according to the agreed payment schedule may result in:
• Suspension or cancellation of ongoing or future services
• Refusal to accept future bookings
• Additional late fees or interest at a reasonable rate
• Pursuit of payment through legal means, including recovery of costs and fees associated with collection.

7. Your Responsibilities
• You agree to disclose all relevant details about your pet(s), including medical, behavioural, or special needs.
• You are responsible for ensuring pets are vaccinated, wormed, and flea-treated unless otherwise discussed.
• Access to your property must be safe and clearly outlined.

8. Reviews and Feedback
Reviews and public comments are welcome via our Facebook or Google pages. We reserve the right to moderate and respond to any content. You agree to post respectfully and truthfully.
